One of the first acts committed by Mohammed the Prophet of Peace when he fled Mecca to Medina was expell two tribes of Jews from the land: the Qaynuqa in 624 CE and the Nadir in 625 CE. In 627CE, Muhammed committed an atrocity against the tribe of Banu Qurayza, a peaceful community of farmers, the last remaining major tribe of Jews in Medina. It is reported that more than 800 men and boys, who had surrendered, were brought in batches to trenches that had been dug for them. Forced to stand over the trenches they were then beheaded.It is 2016 and what has changed? Muslims still burn people alive when not drowning them in cages or throwing them off buildings to hanging them in the public square or encouraging the amputating of hands for theft.
This is Islam the Religion of Peace. And Mohammed the man about whom Muslims say Peace be Upon Him, is so sacred that Muslims call to terror when he is “defamed.” When cartoons are created about him or people say something critical about him there is justification for a riot or a terror attack. And what do the Liberals, the Progressives do to stop these intolerant responses? Why they call on the free people to limit their free speech. We do not want to upset a Muslim. Why not? We upset everyone else? We upset Christians when demands are made to remove the Ten Commandments from buildings or remove prayer from schools or allow “artists” to desecrate Jesus or Mary.
Why do we pander to Muslims? Why are we developing laws in the free world that criminalize Islamophobia? How did we get to a place where in the West a group of people who do not believe in our way of life, whose basic ethical principles are diametrically opposed to freedom are dictating to us what we can and cannot say or do for fear of offending? I am offended by this. Does anyone care that I am offended? No. That I am a Jew and under constant verbal threats from BDS to anti-Semitic rhetoric daily including blaming Israel for the deaths of black men by police does not enter into the collective consciousness of the West. Nor does the fact that Israel has been under constant Muslim terrorism since 1948. After all, if only the Jews…
Enough dancing around the truth. Our problem in the west is Political Islam practiced by millions of Muslims in 22 countries and now all over the world where they now live. Sam Harris got it right when he clarified the cause of terror. As he pointed out:
Islam is not a race, ethnicity, or nationality: It’s a set of ideas. Criticism of these ideas should never be confused with an animus toward people. And yet it is. I’m convinced that this is often done consciously, strategically, and quite cynically as a means of shutting down conversation [on] important topics.
I am listening to the President of the United States making his first speech following the attack in Nice. He said it is as caused by individuals and organizations that are from ISIL-and of course it is “a vile terrorist organization.” After all, Islam is peace as he reminds us again and again. And we must stay true to pluralism –and freedom; like the freedom of religion and speech. Except his Attorney General wants to criminalize Islamophobia. Is that not an attack on freedom of speech? Once again he says the terrorists want us to blame Islam as that adds to their hate and we must not do anything to upset them!
He keeps talking about common humanity as if the vast majority of people have the same values and priorities and morals as we in the West. This ideology is the biggest problem to peace. The refusal to accept the fact that the vast majority of people in this world do not want our lifestyle our values, our freedoms. That Islam, Political Islam is adamantly opposed to our way of life and our values could not possibly be the root cause of terror! Never! It is never the fault of Muslims or the leaders of Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia that spends billions to spread Wahhabism around the world and it is here in Canada and the USA in mosques and Muslim schools. Then there is Iran, another loving, caring country whose sole purpose in life is to destroy Israel and then America the two Satans. But that’s a different story I guess. After all Obama gave Iran 150 billion dollars as well as carte blanche to a nuclear weapon.
No, it is our fault if we say something negative about these countries or these people. It is not their fault their ideology, their ethic, their values or morals or priorities lead to terror. No, no, no, no. It is US. And not just any “US.” It is those of us who are “racists, xenophobes, fear mongering, Islamophobes” who are the problem. We are the cause of wanton terrorism. Not the perpetrators themselves. Or the policies of leaders in the West who kow- tow to terrorists. No, it is the millions upon millions of people like me who demand that we stop extreme tolerance, extreme inclusion, extreme accommodation, extreme diversity to the point that we allow people to live in our free world who want nothing to do with freedom.
