I grew up in the 60’s-the age of sex drugs and rock and roll. Meh. I didn’t fit in. And looking back, I realize why the music didn’t speak to me. It was the era that ushered in feminism – the demeaning of motherhood, the emasculation of men, the destruction of the family unit and attacks on Western Culture – the culture of free will and freedom.

I just read that Doug Emhoff, the husband of Kamal Harris, is the new male sex symbol!

The Washington Post published “Doug Emhoff, modern-day sex symbol,” an opinion piece by columnist Catherine Rampell in which she described the second gentleman as a “hunk” for being “secure enough with his own masculinity to sometimes prioritize his wife’s ambitions over his own.”

“He’s a high-achieving alpha but isn’t threatened if his wife is, too. He loves his job, but he loves his wife more. He knows that ‘supporting’ one’s family is about more than financial support, and that temporarily setting aside his own professional ego makes him no less of a man.”

“What do women want? To be valued and supported as much as they deserve, both privately and in public. On that score, Emhoff looks like a dreamboat.”

Oy. There is an expression in Yiddish “Meir ken brechen” yup, you understand it – I could vomit.

If he is the new sex symbol then the West is truly finished.

I am more of a lover of toxic masculinity. Professor Jason D. Hill wrote:

“Masculinity and manliness, the twin attributes of patriarchy, are being criminalized along with vitality, exuberance and displays of moral authority in men and young boys by a phalanx of radical feminists, ‘woke’ progressives, and systemic nihilists. The goal of these forces is to advance a systemic, nihilistic, gynocentric paradigm that has ushered in an era that will destroy not only men, but civilization itself.” He also writes about “fatherless boys committing a disproportionate number of crimes and rapes in America and across the globe, and the need for society to be radically redesigned along traditional gender roles. This is, fundamentally, because men’s natural role to lead with moral authority — rooted in their biological natures — has been usurped in the name of egalitarianism and equity.”

There is an election coming up in America. The future of America depends on it. To be frank, the future of Western Culture is on the ballot. The economy is on everyone’s mind. At least the real people who fight to put food on the table, a roof over the heads of their family and clothing on their back. Who would have thought that in the 21st century, Americans would be so financially distressed? Who would have thought that western culture would be so fragile?

We are living through the fallout of the sixty’s Sex, Drugs and ROCK AND ROLL. Hopefully, Country Western music will “right the ship.” Focus us on what truly matters:The “somewhere” people. People rooted in their community, in faith, family and flag. And not the “anywhere” people. The not rooted/the ruthless.

I am sharing the song “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony. I think Anthony sums up the economic mess. Who will best repair the damage: Trump or Harris? Their economic views are shared after the song.

ENJOY!

I’ve been sellin’ my soul, workin’ all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away

It’s a damn shame what the world’s gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin’ in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don’t think you know, but I know that you do
‘Cause your dollar ain’t shit and it’s taxed to no end
‘Cause of rich men north of Richmond

I wish politicians would look out for miners
And not just minors on an island somewhere
Lord, we got folks in the street, ain’t got nothin’ to eat
And the obese milkin’ welfare

Well, God, if you’re 5-foot-3 and you’re 300 pounds
Taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds
Young men are puttin’ themselves six feet in the ground
‘Cause all this damn country does is keep on kickin’ them down

Lord, it’s a damn shame what the world’s gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin’ in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don’t think you know, but I know that you do
‘Cause your dollar ain’t shit and it’s taxed to no end
‘Cause of rich men north of Richmond

I’ve been sellin’ my soul, workin’ all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay

We saw the economy under Donald Trump when he was President from 2016 to 2020.

Now here is Kamala whom I lovingly refer to as Kakala!

Kamala wants to “ work with Congress to “advance the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries; set clear rules of the road to make clear that big corporations can’t unfairly exploit consumers to run up excessive profits on food and groceries.”

A Harris-Walz administration would also look to secure “new authority for the FTC and state attorneys general to investigate and impose strict new penalties on companies that break the rules,” according to the document.

Kamala Harris wants to give $25,000 to illegal aliens to buy American homes. And is proposing a  downpayment assistance of $25,000 for 400,000 first-generation home buyers — or homebuyers whose parents don’t own a home — and a $10,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers.

Under Biden/Harris 2020-2024

And  the border.

Remember what it was like under Trump? Mostly closed!

I leave you with Donald Trump’s promises for 2024 and beyond.
