Machiavelli watched the Borgia’s at work at war. I read The Prince and books about Machiavelli and this is one of the lessons that I took from his writings: if someone says they are going to kill you-believe them. That and “Never attempt to win by force what can be won by deception.”

Nothing has changed since he wrote The Prince. In 1513.

Prior to the Shoah, in the late 1800’s, we heard the rumble and the grumble of Jew hatred crossing Europe.  But no one really believed any of it. Even when Hitler proclaimed his intention toward the Jews, assimilated Jews in Germany refused to accept him at his word.  I doubt very much if any thought that the hatred he carried would lead to millions of Jews burned in ovens or shot and tossed into mass graves. And when people did hear a whiff of the truth, most wilfully turned  a blind eye. After all, it was only the Jews. The Canadian government  summed up the sentiment when it came to Jews: “None is too many.”

Dr. Konrad Adenauer said following the Shoah:

“National Socialism could not have come to power in Germany if it had not found, in broad strata of the population, soil prepared for its sowing of poison. It is not accurate to say that the high military or the great industrialists alone bear the guilt.”

But that vile irrational hate for the Jewish people shared by Hitler has not died. And, once again, Jews are turning a blind eye to the hate for the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel. Wake up to what is happening in Britain.

Hitler’s last admonition to the world were shared in his suicide note dated 4:00 AM, April 29, 1945.

“Above all I charge the leaders of the nation and those under them to scrupulous observance of the laws of race and to merciless opposition to the universal poisoner of all peoples, international Jewry.”

And those words were taken to heart by his friend, Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. He carried forward with the war against the Jews, to bring to fruition the anti-Jewish war of extermination initiated by the Nazis.

“Our battle with World Jewry is a question of life and death. It is a battle between two conflicting faiths, each of which can exist only on the ruins of the other.”

Haj Amin al-Husseini worked to unite the Arabs with the Nazis, economically and ideologically, in an anti-Jewish Islamic movement across India to Central Europe and on to the Middle East.

Muslims could take heart from the words of Hitler, himself, praising Islam; the passing of the thread from one creed to another, providing a bridge between two hateful ideologies. Islam for Hitler was a Männerreligion; a religion of men; and hygienic too. He had spoken of soldiers of Islam receiving a warrior’s heaven, a real earthly paradise with houris and wine flowing. Islam, he had intoned, was a cult which glorifies the heroism and which opens up the seven Heavens to bold warriors alone

And so the Männerreligion carried on without Hitler through the teachings of Islam.

“We the Palestinian nation, our fate from Allah is to be the vanguard in the war against the Jews until the resurrection of the dead, as the prophet Muhammad said: ‘The resurrection of the dead will not arrive until you will fight the Jews and kill them… ’ We the Palestinians are the vanguard in this undertaking and in this campaign, whether or not we want this…

“Oh, our Arab brethren… Oh, our Muslim brethren… Don’t leave the Palestinians alone in the war against the Jews…even if it has been decreed upon us to be the vanguard… Jerusalem, Palestine and Al Aksa (The Temple Mount), the land that Allah blessed and its surrounding areas will remain at the center of the struggle between Truth and Falsehood, between the Jews and the non-Jews on this sacred land, regardless of how many agreements are signed, regardless of how many treaties and covenants are ratified.  For the Truth is in the Koran, as verified by the words of the prophet Muhammad that the decisive battle will be in Jerusalem and its environs: ‘The resurrection of the dead will not occur until you make war on the Jews…’

“The battle with the Jews will surely come… the decisive Muslim victory is coming without a doubt, and the prophet spoke about in more than one Hadith and the Day of Resurrection will not come without the victory of the believers the Muslims over the descendants of the monkeys and pigs the Jews and with their annihilation.”

Oh Allah, accept our martyrs in the highest heavens…
Oh Allah, show the Jews a black day…
Oh Allah, annihilate the Jews and their supporters…
Oh Allah, raise the flag of Jihad across the land.”

“When the Jews are wiped out…the sun of peace would begin to rise on the entire world.”

And you, my dear Jews, who stand at the foot of the Golden Calf of Tikkun Olam and IfNotNow, JSpace,  and Jewish Voice for Peace, you stand with these who support left-wing ideologies;from Jeremy Corbyn in Britain who stands proudly with Palestinian terrorists who cowardly murder Jews, to the democrats in America, including Barack Obama who deserted Israel as he left office and anti-Semitic Islamist activist, Linda Sarsour, warning Muslims at ISNA that if they weren’t fighting Israel, they were complicit. She warned them against even daring to “humanize” Israelis, as Steve Emerson reports at The Algemeiner. Worse still,

“if you’re on the side of the oppressor, or you’re defending the oppressor, or you’re actually trying to humanize the oppressor, then that’s a problem sisters and brothers, and we got to be able to say: that is not the position of the Muslim American community.”

Daring to humanize? Hitler taught to dehumanize the enemy in order to murder the enemy.

Just as Islam has taken over hatred for the Jews from the Nazis, you, my Progressive Jews, are the reincarnation of the German assimilated Jews who knew they were not the Jews Hitler was talking about. You believe you will be loved if you stand with others against Am Yisrael. You won’t.

Returning to Machiavelli “Upon this a question arises: whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? One should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, it is much safer to be feared than loved.”

You have been told you will be killed, yet you refuse to believe.

If not now: When?

From the Ethics of the Fathers: “Rabbi Tarfon used to say, it is not incumbent upon you to complete the task, but you are not exempt from undertaking it.”
