it is an excellent review of the development of the ideology of the left and its fundamentalism. There is an excellent history of the concepts of nationalism and internationalism, anti-colonialism, anti-capitalism, anti-globalization.

Robert  S. Wistrich is the Neuburger Professor of European and Jewish history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and director of the Vidal Sassoon International Centre for the Study of Anti-Semitism. He was also a member of the inter-faith committee that looked into life of Pope Pius XII  during World War II.
