Wistrich is the Neuburger Professor of European and Jewish history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and director of the Vidal Sassoon International Centre for the Study of Anti-Semitism. He was also a member of the inter-faith committee that looked into life of Pope Pius XII during World War II.
