Is is time to charge the CBC with hate crimes against Jews and Israel?

This article is about the never ending fake and hateful news about Jews and Israel promoted by the CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The CBC is Canada’s broadcasting corporation. If you agree that the CBC needs to be charged or that the corporation needs to be held accountable, please send the link to this article to the Editor-in-Chief, Brodie Fenlon: [email protected] and the ombudsman, Jack Nagler: [email protected]. CBC is heard and seen from coast to coast to coast. One might call it the official broadcasting corporation of Canada.  And it shares a great deal of Jew hatred through its broadcasts.

There are  8 billion people: 2 billion Muslims: 2 billion Catholics and Protestants and 15 million Jews

From Hamas: In 2021, there were 10,850 ‘resistance’ attacks against Israel in Jerusalem and the West Bank; 191 shooting attacks, 41 stabbings and attempted stabbings, 21 vehicle-ramming attacks and attempted vehicle-ramming attacks, and 55 attacks with explosive devices.

I can understand a mistake once in a while. Getting incorrect information or omitting information that may be correct. And then one apologizes. An apology used to mean that this behaviour would not happen again. But, no.  No matter how many times the CBC is caught “misrepresenting” the facts and then apologizing, out comes another “error.” At what point does one say, enough; this is no accident; this is done intentionally? What do you think? Half dozen a dozen in a year? I mean really how many times can one contact the CBC ombudsman and editor and programme editor and point out the omission of facts or the lies before one has to ask, hey, are they just a Jew-hating organization?

Are 45 times enough?

“The omission is the most powerful form of lie, and it is the duty of the historian to ensure that those lies do not creep into the history books.” —George Orwell, author of ‘1984’

The Jewish community in Canada accounts for only 1% of the population and yet are the targets of 17% of police-reported hate crime. Statistics Canada study averaged out 296 hate crimes targeting Jews, with an average of five hate crimes per week. An annual independent audit conducted by B’nai Brith Canada found a record number of antisemitic incidents for the fourth year in a row.  An average of six antisemitic incidents occurred every day in 2019, and was an 8% increase compared to 2018. In addition, there was an increase of more than 11% in anonymous online antisemitic harassment. A total of 2,207 incidents were reported by the audit.

Alan Bloom wrote “The most successful tyranny is not one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes awareness of other possibilities…that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.”

Here is the link to The Canadian Association of Journalists Guidelines. I am sharing the standards most relevant to this report. Is the CBC ethically following them?

ACCURACY · We are disciplined in our efforts to verify all facts. Accuracy is the moral imperative of journalists and news organizations, and should not be compromised, even by pressing deadlines of the 24-hour news cycle.  We make every effort to verify the identities and backgrounds of our sources.  We seek documentation to support the reliability of those sources and their stories, and we are careful to distinguish between assertions and fact.  Our reporting and editing will not change the meaning of a statement or exclude important qualifiers.  When we make a mistake, whether in fact or in context, and regardless of the platform, we correct* it promptly and in a transparent manner, acknowledging the nature of the error. We publish or broadcast all corrections, clarifications or apologies in a consistent way. We generally do not “unpublish” or remove digital content, despite public requests, or “source remorse.” Rare exceptions generally involve matters of public safety, an egregious error or ethical violation, or legal restrictions such as publication bans.

Now you may ask, why do I think the CBC is a Jew hating organization? Read for yourself.

I am sharing CBC’s fake news about Jews from 2021. Here are 45 stories that Honest Reporting Canada has shared. And that is one media watch organization. That’s almost one per week. Sometimes the CBC says OOPS, I am sorry, but not always. They have excuses and explanations. But, no matter what the “story,” it will always be in the public domain.

CBC and Waterloo Record Portray Israel as an Abuser of Palestinian Children / December 1, 2021

The CBC said Israel abuses Palestinian children. Then apologized with this comment: “Last Sunday at this time, we told you about a protest happening in Winnipeg. Protesters were accusing Israel of human rights violations against child prisoners. CBC has not been able to get comment from the Israeli government regarding these accusations, but in responding to similar criticisms in the past, a government spokesperson has denied these allegations, stating that Israel does not engage in torture, humiliation, or solitary confinement to achieve confessions.”

Note-Israel says. Again. You would think someone from the CBC would investigate.

Oops. Sorry. Not really.

CBC Radio Report Ignores Israeli Casualties of Hamas Terror Attack / November 23, 2021

All reports mentioned that there was a shooting attack in Jerusalem, but none of the reports mentioned that an Israeli civilian was murdered and that 4 other Israelis were injured by the Hamas terrorist. Eli Kay  was a 26-year-old Western Wall tour guide and a former lone soldier. The four injured Israelis included two border police officers who have been released from hospital.

One of CBC’s reports said the following of the attacker: “It was carried out by Fadi Abu Shkhaydam, a teacher of Islamic Studies at a Jerusalem municipal high school, he was not known to be a militant.” Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Abu Shkhaydam dressed like an orthodox Jewish man to hide his identity and to conceal his weapon.

But she left out…

“Public Security Minister Omer Barlev said on Sunday that the Palestinian gunman behind the attack in Jerusalem’s Old City was a senior member of Palestinian terrorist group Hamas’ political wing and that his wife fled the country several days prior.”

WATCH: CBC Kids News Spreads Anti-Israel Misinformation / October 8, 2021

Let’s indoctrinate those children One of the concluding slides says: “Both sides have used violence to protect themselves and fight for what they believe is rightfully theirs.” In one fell swoop, CBC drew an abhorrent moral equivalency between Israel’s army taking efforts to defend its populace from terror attacks and warfare, and Palestinian terrorists who have murdered and maimed Israeli civilians. CBC’s portrayal of the Palestinian’s use of violence implies that it was legitimate self defense, ignoring how terrorists used suicide bombs, launched rockets, carried out shooting and stabbing sprees, etc.

Oops. Sorry. No, not really.

The video targeted to Canadian children, portrayed Israel as a relatively new phenomenon, built atop a land with a long history of Palestinian habitation.

(Why did they do this? Did they not read any of the textbooks that teach Muslim children to grow up and be terrorist and kill Jews? Did they miss the articles on Muslims Pay for slay-kill a Jew and you are set for life.)

WATCH: After HRC Complaint, CBC Broadcasts Munich Massacre Moment of Silence / August 9, 2021

On August 6, HonestReportng Canada (HRC) exposed how instead of covering the historic tribute of the 11 Israeli athletes who were murdered by the Palestinian terror group Black September at the 1972 Munich Olympics, CBC elected to go to commercial break at the opening ceremonies, rather than covering this important memorial.

In response to a complaint sent by HRC to CBC Olympics, Executive Producer Chris Irwin wrote:

I appreciate the importance and the significance of my mistake. It was not an editorial choice but a regrettable timing accident. I do plan on bringing this moment back at a time that is fitting during the closing ceremony show when it is appropriate and not underplaying the significance by simply playing it now as sport is front and centre. Thank you for holding us accountable for our broadcasting responsibility. We began making plans on how to correct this when it happened. And I hope you respect that we will do so.

Outrageous: CBC Interviews Individual Accused of Antisemitism Asking if Antisemitism is a Problem in the Green Party / July 21, 2021

On the July 18 edition of the CBC Radio program The House, CBC interviewed Dimitri Lascaris (former Green Party leadership candidate and party member pictured right) about the turmoil within the Green Party of Canada, asking if he thought antisemitism is a problem within the party, all without mentioning that he was condemned by all of Canada’s federal parties for engaging in what was condemned as Jew hatred in 2018. Lascaris denies allegations of past antisemitism.

Green Party Leader Annamie Paul Didn’t Claim Israel Used “Excessive Force” In Conflict With Hamas: HRC Prompts CBC Correction / July 21, 2021

CBC’s Forked Tongue on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict / July 5, 2021

On July 5, the CBC Radio program “Unforked” produced a segment on “gastronationalism” where Israel was accused of “appropriating” hummus as its own national dish, with CBC framing the chick pea delicacy as really being of Palestinian origin. The show descended into a depiction of Israelis as “settler colonialists” and occupiers of indigenous Palestinian land, who were responsible for erasing so-called historical Palestinian communities.

Oops. Sorry. Well, not really. They did not apologize.

CBC Gives First Person Article to Palestinian-Canadian To Spew Outright Falsehoods / June 30, 2021

HRC Prompts Major CBC Correction: Israeli Airstrikes Didn’t Break Ceasefire, Hamas’ Arson Balloons Did / June 24, 2021

On June 16, CBC.ca published a news article which falsely reported that Israel broke the recent truce with Gaza-based terrorists, whereas in fact, Hamas’ incendiary balloons violated the ceasefire. So they fixed it.

Listen: CBC Fails To Challenge Palestinian Authority’s Rationale For Rejecting 1 Million+ COVID Vaccines From Israel / June 24, 2021

Journalist Rebecca Collard reported the Palestinian Authority rejected a supply of 1.4 million COVID vaccines from Israel saying they are too close to expiry and didn’t pass their safety check.  Fact: Under pressure from Hamas, the Palestinian Authority rejected the 1.4 million Pfizer vaccine doses offered by Israel, saying they don’t “meet our standards.” But they’re the same vaccines given to Israelis. Now three other countries are asking for them.

What wasn’t good enough for the Palestinians seems to be good enough for everyone else! And yet Israel gets accused of “vaccine apartheid!”

CBC News told HonestReporting Canada that it felt that this was a short report that didn’t require any of the aforementioned context. Of course, we beg to differ as this report was highly tendentious, though CBC did concede that its referring to Gaza as being “occupied” wasn’t in adherence to its language guide.

Oops. Sorry. Really?

CBC Claims Hamas “Retaliated” By Firing 4,000+ Rockets At Israel / June 7, 2021

Did the listeners know this CBC article lists CBC reporter Dalia Ashry as a contributor. HonestReporting Canada had previously filed a complaint with CBC News as Ms. Ashry’s Twitter page is rife with pro-Palestinian advocacy posts (see screen grabs appended below). While Ms. Ashry says her “Thoughts and views do not reflect my employer,” that goes against CBC policy, as journalists are required to refrain from commenting and taking stands on issues they cover.

CBC: The Current’s Bias Against Israel On Full Display / June 1, 2021

This link refers to 6 separate occasions on The Current hosted by Matt Galloway that were filled with “errors.” I notice they never talk about the hatred for Jews in text books taught in the PA schools to Muslim children.  And the Current was well aware of my book The Serpent and the Red Thread: The Definitive Biography of Evil and that it was in the Yad Vashem Library in Jerusalem.  But they were not interested in the 3000 years of Jew hatred. I wonder why?

Oops. Sorry. Meh.

CBC Blames Israel For Gaza Destruction, Despair and Deaths / May 27, 2021

Evans’ report was skewed to blame Israel from the get-go, with repetitive angles about the Israeli blockade, while giving a platform to Palestinians to falsely claim that Gaza is “occupied.” Little context was given about the 4,000+ rockets that would have devastated Israel and massacred civilians, were it not for the Iron Dome missile defense interceptor, red alert sirens and bomb shelters.

Seems dead Jews and terrified Jewish children don’t rate coverage.

Globe and CBC Falsely Claim All Palestinian Casualties Were Killed By Israeli Airstrikes / May 23, 2021

Recent reports on CBC The Current attributed all Palestinian casualties to Israeli airstrikes, whereas the veracity of this claim is unknown (and may never be known) and even Palestinian human rights groups have acknowledged that errant Palestinians rocket fire (believed to total about 1/3 of the 4,000 rockets fired at Israel,) killed an unknown number of Palestinians. Israel claims that in one incident an errant Palestinian rocket killed 8 members of a Palestinian family.

CBC Reporter Ignores How Hamas Uses Cement to Build Terror-Attack Tunnels / May 21, 2021

In a live hit today for CBC TV in Gaza, Margaret Evans, the CBC’s former Middle East bureau chief, described Gaza as “the world’s largest outdoor prison” because of the Israeli-Egyptian blockade, claiming that Israeli restrictions impede the delivery of cement to Gaza. For some reason, it didn’t dawn on Ms. Evans to report how Hamas uses cement to build terror attack tunnels, a vast amount which Israel recently destroyed and which are also used to store thousands of rockets.

(While Israel builds bomb shelters for her citizens, Hamas builds bomb shelters for their bombs).

This statement was delivered in the context of background footage CBC used in Gaza showing destroyed buildings and rubble, and a discussion of international aid and support for rebuilding.

Amazingly, as the live hit proceeded, Evans referred to the tunnels, but in the context of the bodies of nine dead Palestinian “militants” who were pulled from the tunnels that had been struck by Israel. Hmm

CBC’s Carol Off Acts as Hamas Apologist and Badgers Policy Adviser to Israeli Foreign Ministry / May 19, 2021

Ahhh Yes Ms. Off, Middle East Expert. Off: “I think maybe our listeners should know what you and I both know, which is that when you speak of 3,500 rockets being fired at Israel, that you have something called the Iron Dome, don’t you? It is a missile defence system that means that 90 per cent of those rockets never land on Israel. You’ve said elsewhere in other interviews that a large number of these rockets aren’t even getting to Israel; they’re landing in Gaza. So let’s just give people a better sense of what the threat is that you are faced with and what kind of response you’re giving to that threat.”

(Yup, defend Hamas with every breath.)

In Off’s warped worldview, these rockets don’t pose a serious threat to Israeli civilians. Israel should just live and bear with being under the brunt of relentless Hamas terrorism. What an abhorrent and morally repugnant comment to make.

But that’s the CBC. Oops. Sorry. Not yet.

HRC Alarmed To See Canadian Journalists Sign Anti-Israel Open Letter / May 16, 2021

CBC’s Freelance Reporter Claims Gaza is an “Open-Air Prison” / May 13, 2021

On the CBC program Front Burner about recent fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists, freelance reporter Irris Makler claimed that the Gaza Strip is an “open-air prison.”

Fact: Israel and Egypt jointly carry out a blockade of Gaza to prevent Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups from carrying out attacks and to acquire dangerous weaponry, like the long-range rockets (2,000 which have been fired as of this writing) at Israel. Israel has an obligation to protect its citizenry and its efforts are in accordance with international law.

Oops. Sorry. Not really.

CBC National Claims Palestinian Rocket Fire Came “In Return” to Israeli Airstrikes / May 12, 2021

CBC The National, former Middle East reporter Saša Petricic reversed the chronology of recent hostilities between Israel and Palestinian terrorists by claiming that Palestinian rocket fire came “in return” to Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

FACT CBC’s report ignored how in the 24 hours prior, several hundred rockets were fired at Israeli civilians, which as of this writing has killed 5 people in Israel, including a 7-year-old child and wounded dozens, many seriously. To date, it’s believed that close to 1,000 rockets have been fired at Israel throughout these hostilities.

(It’s only Jewish lives).

CBC Radio Omits Antisemitic Motivations Behind Murder of Sarah Halimi / April 26, 2021

Here is the report:

Several thousand people gathered outside the Eiffel Tower today denouncing a controversial ruling upheld by France’s highest court. The ruling involved the murder case from 2017. 65-year-old Sarah Halimi was severely beaten and thrown from her third floor balcony by her neighbour. The court ruled that the man, a heavy cannabis user, was under a delirious state and so he was not fit for trial. Instead, he was sent to a psychiatric hospital. Under French law, people cannot be held criminally responsible for actions committed while suffering from psychiatric disorder. Protestors and elected officials are calling for the law to be changed and for Halimi’s murderer to appear before court. France’s Ministry of Justice has since announced a bill that would fill a legal vacuum regarding the consequences of the voluntary use of drugs.

Seems the report left out the fact that the murderer screamed “Allahu Akbar” and “I killed the Satan,”

HRC Prompts CBC Correction: Murder of 3 Israeli Teens Not in ICC Investigative Scope / March 18, 2021

After the incorrect information was shared on the CBC the CBC did make a correction. But, isn’t there always a but..

Honest Reporting responded:

While we appreciate and applaud the CBC for issuing this correction and for sensitizing its journalists about their error, it’s disappointing that the CBC declined to broadcast this correction on its radio airwaves. It’s standard procedure that a correction should appear on the same platform and program that the error was originally stated on. The CBC’s failing to set the record straight on the air opens the CBC up to the appearance that it was trying to reduce the visibility of the correction by relegating it only to a low traffic corrections page, which is very hard to find on the CBC website.

CBC Updates Report To Acknowledge RFK Assassin Was Palestinian Who Killed Kennedy Due to Support for Israel / August 31, 2021

We took note that CBC.ca published an Associated Press (AP) article on August 27 which did not mention that Sirhan was a Palestinian who assassinated Kennedy due to his support for Israel. The original AP article mentioned these cornerstone facts by saying: Sirhan, a Christian Palestinian from Jordan, has acknowledged he was angry at Kennedy for his support of Israel.

CBC Updates Report Of Mike Richards Resigning As Jeopardy! Host To Refer To His Derogatory Remarks Against Jews / August 24, 2021

(Oh dear.)

CBC left out the antisemitism. Many mainstream media outlets (for example BBC and CNN) reported accurately that Mike Richards resigned because of his past misogynist, racist and antisemitic comments, but we took note that an Associated Press report published on the CBC’s website on August 20 omitted mentioning the disparaging comments he had made against Jews.

We pointed this out to the CBC, which to its credit, updated this report which now says the following:

On the podcast, Richards used derogatory, crude language about women and their bodies. At one point he says his female co-host and former assistant was a “booth ho” and “booth slut” when she worked at a trade show. He also made a mocking remark about Jews and disparaged the homeless.”

Listen: CBC Reporter Margaret Evans Misleads On Israeli-Palestinian Conflict / June 16, 2021

(Seems Margaret Evans has problems with ethical reporting from Israel. East Jerusalem is not occupied. Jerusalem IS the capital of Israel).

Evans spoke of “what many called heavy handed Israeli policing around the Al Aqsa Mosque that left hundreds of Palestinians injured”. Evans failed to acknowledge the violent Palestinian/Arab rioting that saw Israeli police injured as they hurled large rocks, fireworks and Molotov cocktails that they had stashed in the Mosque, a revered place of worship.

Oops Sorry. Don’t be ridiculous! Of course not.

HRC Prompts CBC To Remove False Claim That Netanyahu Opposes Palestinian Statehood / June 16, 2021

CBC News.ca published an article to its website which falsely claimed that Benjamin Netanyahu is against the two-state solution.

Netanyahu has repeatedly gone on record saying he supports the two-state solution, but that there has to be certain requirements for Palestinian statehood.

Oops Sorry. Sort of.

HRC Prompts CBC Headline Amendment Acknowledging Violence in Israel / June 1, 2021

A May 29 article by CBC reporter Evan Dyer carried the following headline that we took issue with: “Violence in Gaza has left behind a changed political landscape in Canada.”

As we told CBC News, it’s not fair, accurate or proper for CBC to ignore violence in Israel as evidenced by Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups firing 4,000+ rockets at Israel. That has also impacted the political landscape in Canada. Accordingly, we requested that the CBC change its headline

Oops Sorry: We are pleased to report that CBC upheld our concerns and amended its headline. (I guess violence against Jews does not count unless requested).

CBC Reporter’s Unfounded Claim: 50 Jewish “SETTLERS” Visited Al Aqsa Mosque Compound / May 26, 2021

CBC reporter Steven d’Souza, who was just parachuted in to Jerusalem, erroneously claimed that 50 Jewish “SETTLERS” were allowed to visit the Al Aqsa Mosque compound.

(Settlers? All Jews are now settlers? And The Temple Mount? The Mosque SITS ON TOP of two Jewish temples. Who’s the settler?)

CBC Anchor Fails to Challenge Falsehood that Israel Doesn’t Allow Palestinians To Have Bomb Shelters / May 20, 2021

Ms. Aburahma claimed that Israel doesn’t allow Gazans to have bomb shelters (Gaza is run by Muslims)

Ms. Aburahma claimed that Israel “occupies” Gaza. In fact, Israel disengaged its soldiers, destroyed its 21 settlements and removed its 8,500 settlers in 2005. There’s no Israeli presence inside Gaza except for two Israelis who have been held hostage by Hamas and the remains of deceased IDF soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul.

Al Aqsa Mosque Isn’t A Sacred Jewish Site, Temple Mount Is: HRC Prompts Canadian Press and CBC Correction / May 13, 2021

May 13 the CBC erroneously claimed that the Al Aqsa Mosque is a “site sacred to Jews.” In fact, the Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism, not the Mosque, which is Islam’s third holiest site.

CBC Reporter Falsely Claims “Israelis Are Trying To Evict Palestinian Homeowners” / May 12, 2021

On the evening broadcast of CBC Radio on May 11, former Middle East reporter Sasa Petricic erroneously claimed that “… Israelis are trying to evict Palestinian homeowners” in reference to the real estate dispute in Sheikh Jarrah/Shimon HaTzadik neighbourhood.

In so doing, Petricic perpetuated an outright falsehood that is deserving of an immediate on-air correction.

In truth, and as NGO Monitor confirms, Israel is going through a decades-long legal process to adjudicate whether to evict Palestinian families who have been illegally squatting and living rent-free in Jewish-owned homes in the east Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah/Shimon HaTzadik. The Palestinian families refuse to pay rent to the owner, a Jewish organization dating back to before Israel’s independence in 1948.

(Oh dear. Not another fact in the way?)

CBC Reporter Describes Israelis Celebrating on Jerusalem Day as “Extremists” / May 11, 2021

CBC The National aired a report by former Mideast reporter Saša Petricic who described thousands of Israelis celebrating Jerusalem Day festivities as “extremists.” Later today, Jerusalem’s Old City was jammed with extremist right-wing Israelis celebrating Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, equally furious and defiant.”

CBC showed video of what looks like several thousand Israelis in revelry. Contrary to Mr. Petricic’s reporting, Jerusalem Day is an Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in the aftermath of the June 1967 Six-Day War.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people where Jews have lived for over 3,000 years.

(But, never let a fact get in the way of a hateful narrative.)

CBC Amends Report Claiming U.S-Israel Relations Strained Following Natanz Attack / April 13, 2021

On April 12, CBC News published an Associated Press report on the recent attack on Iran’s underground Natanz nuclear facility that claimed that the attack – which Iran blames on Israel – as having further strained relations between the U.S. and Israel.

The article stated the following that we took issue with:

The attack further strains relations between the United States, which under President Joe Biden is now negotiating in Vienna to re-enter the nuclear accord, and Israel, whose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to stop the deal at all costs.”

Turns out it was an unsubstantiated claim/opinion.

Oops. Sorry.

See a pattern, here? A narrative, perhaps, that the CBC wishes to share from Coast to Coast to Coast? One thing is certain, they follow these Journalistic guidelines in order to promote their anti-Jewish anti-Israel narrative.

When we make a mistake, whether in fact or in context, and regardless of the platform, we correct* it promptly and in a transparent manner, acknowledging the nature of the error. We publish or broadcast all corrections, clarifications or apologies in a consistent way.  We generally do not “unpublish” or remove digital content, despite public requests, or “source remorse.”

When a story is shared, and not properly fact checked; when editors who receive information rebutting an article and refuse to make corrections; we end up with #FakeNews blowing in the wind. With the advent of social media we will never be able to retrieve all the posts. The damage is not only done; it cannot be undone.

Is the CBC guilty of the same “misinformation” and omission of facts as the media were during World War II as described in the book Beyond Belief: The American Press and the Coming of the Holocaust 1933-1945 by Deborah Lipstadt?

Darren Lilleker, a professor of political communication, argues that “fake news is the deliberate spread of misinformation, be it via traditional news media or through social media.”

Fake news is “deliberately misleading” and involving “intentionally or knowingly false statements of fact,” “deliberate spread of misinformation,” along with the “intention to deceive.” “News that contains false or inaccurate information,” “‘News’ with an agenda”, “News that is stretched in one way or another/tailored to a certain audience rather than raw facts,” “Clickbait material created without regard for actual true content” (Chapman 2017).

Chris Meserole from The Brookings Institution, a non-profit public policy organization based in Washington, DC wrote:

“Human biases play an important role: Since we’re more likely to react to content that taps into our existing grievances and beliefs, inflammatory tweets will generate quick engagement…this cycle can turn social media into a kind of confirmation bias machine, one perfectly tailored for the spread of misinformation.”

Is it possible the CBC has decided that Israel has no right to exist as a Jewish state and Jews, well, they do not deserve to live in peace?

I leave it to you to decide.

“Freedom of the press is essential to the preservation of a democracy; but there is a difference between freedom and license. Editorialists who tell downright lies in order to advance their own agendas do more to discredit the press than all the censors in the world.” Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States.

From the Ethics of the Fathers: “Rabbi Tarfon used to say, it is not incumbent upon you to complete the task, but you are not exempt from undertaking it.”
