Jill Bolte Taylor wrote about her experience with stroke. She explains the stroke physically and at the same time teaches us about the right and left sides of the brain and how they “see” the world. She brings science to religious experience. She teaches us that there is always hope and that any experience, even one as frightening as stroke can be transformative. Dr. Taylor is a neuroanatomist, a brain scientist, and this is her personal journey to a her new insight.
