As we acknowledge during every Passover Seder: “In every generation [enemies] rise up against us, to destroy us, and every time God saves us from their hands.”
This generation the enemy is the new-age Progressives-of all races, colours, creeds, religions, and sexual orientation who are the new Amalek; Amalek, the leader of a tribe that attacked the weakest of the Israelites coming out of Israel after centuries of enslavement. And these Progressives are overly abundant in universities, politics, and mainstream media-all over the world; followed closely by the UN the EU and the OIC.
Come to think of it-not much has changed since pre-WWII. Then the world was against the Jewish people. Today they are against the only Jewish state in the world. Then the world was wilfully blind to the collusion between Hitler and the Grand Mufti in their “Final Solution” plans. Now the world is actively participating in the attacks on Israel as a Jewish state. The latest attack, the demand that Israel accept tens of thousands of “refugees” the vast majority of whom have been raised bathed and swaddled in Jew-hatred. Who stand proudly and scream “Death to the Jews, Death to Israel.”
These demands come from mainstream media outlets to media in small towns; towns without Jews. Craig Damian Smith, associate director of the Global Migration Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto wrote an article in the Globe and Mail about Israel and Eritrean refugees in the country. He singled out the Jewish state of Israel for infractions regarding refugees. There is no mention of the change in refugee policies for Eritreans in Switzerland. A small town in Ontario compared Israel to the Nazis.
This is taking place not because today’s Christians have forgotten the Holocaust, they just think they have repented for it. NO! Faced again with endemic Jew hatred, the Christian world has once again turned on the Jewish people: blaming Israel for her response to terror, attempting to disarm Israel with attacks on her army. NEVER AGAIN means the Jewish people will never again give in to those who want to see Israel and the Jewish people fail.
Let us Never Forget actions taken over the past 2 millennia; the prosecutions, persecutions, pogroms, shtetls, ghettos, Crusades, Inquisitions, and expulsions which culminated in their wilful blindness toward the military-industrial plans by Hitler to eliminate the Jews from the face of the earth.
The History of the Holocaust is written as if the Shoah just happened, something passive out of the blue, like a hurricane or tornado. As if it happened by accident or surprise. The Holocaust was planned and executed by the Nazis with the aid of the Muslims in the Middle East-through the connection between Hitler and the Grand Mufti who made the plans for the final solution.
But the plan was approved by most of the world-for the policy of the vast majority of countries was like Canada-when it came to the Jews “None is Too Many.” This would never have happened without the complicity, the wilful blindness of the vast majority of countries at that time.
And let us never forget the hands-on work of the British. They were to protect the Mandate for the Jewish people as designated at the San Remo Conference in 1920. But Britain unilaterally and illegally gave away three quarters of the land designated as the Jewish homeland to the Arabs. It’s called Jordan today. And the Muslims didn’t want any more Jews coming to “Palestine” as detailed in the British mandate agreement. So Hitler agreed to murder the Jews.
And now that the Jews have their own Jewish state, one state out of 192, Israel is faced with the arrogance, the unmitigated gall; the chutzpah; of Christians and Muslims attacking Israel, a mere 70 years after the Shoah. Leaders of countries, of organizations, are using guilt in an attempt to make Israel heel. Trying to make Jews and the state of Israel feel guilty for not taking in “refugees” because we know what it was like to have no home no refuge, no safe space. Yes we do. But now it is the responsibility of all the other nations of the world to finish their repentance by doing the right thing this time; take in these “refugees” because we know that these calls to Israel to take in these refugees is an attempt to de-Judaize the state.
And the Progressives also attack Israel when she has the “gall” to protect her people and her country from attacks; now from Gaza with calls to break down the borders in their “March of Return,” to destroy the Jewish state, while marching with flags with Swastikas.
I think the greatest sadness for me are the dear Jews who have taken on this guilt, projected by the Progressives, and are willing to assist in the de-Judaizing of Israel. It is a shtetl mentality that lives on: memories of running and hiding and kowtowing to protect one’s life and the life of family. Now it is time to protect and defend the 14 million Jews left, 7 million in the only Jewish state in the world; on this planet.
In the animal kingdom the Jews would be listed as an endangered species in need of a safe habitat.
There is a term in Judaism called Tshuva. It means repentance, but more than that. It means faced with the same decision, standing at the same crossroads, you will take a different path. The world has not. It is following the same path as before the Holocaust. Blame the Jews. Scapegoat the Jews.
But this time there is a strong Jewish state, with an incredible military, with a long memory. We remember all the attempts to murder us. All your excuses to kill us. We remember. And have vowed Never Again.
From the Ethics of the Fathers: “Rabbi Tarfon used to say, it is not incumbent upon you to complete the task, but you are not exempt from undertaking it.”
