Mayor John Tory just attended services at the Masjid Toronto Mosque run by the Muslim Association of Canada to celebrate a Muslim holiday: Eid al-Adha. Tory tweeted: “It was a pleasure to join the Muslim Association of Canada this morning to celebrate Eid Al-Adha. #EidAlAdha.”
The Mayor has acknowledged that he has visited the Mosque many times.
He had shared his displeasure last year about a protest held outside that mosque. He called it Islamophobic, as did then Premier of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne.
Yet, this is the same Mosque where prayers attacking Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims have been said. The prayers have been recorded.
The Mayor had received notification of these prayers LAST MARCH. He was given a letter. We know this because it was recorded and reported.
Tweets have been sent to the Mayor to his official Twitter account about the Masjid.

Mostafa Hanout (July 2016):

Shaykh Abdool Hamid (July 8, 2016):
O Allah! Raise the standing of Islam and the Muslims and humiliate the polytheism [identified by Muslim scholars also as Christianity], the infidels and the atheists, and give victory (help) to your slaves who believe in the oneness of Allah. O Allah! Give victory to our oppressed and deprived Muslim brothers and the mujahideen (those who engage in jihad) everywhere. O Allah! Pour on them patience and steadfast their feet and give them victory over the disbelieving people and give them victory over the evildoers and give them victory over the criminals.
Why is the Mayor of Toronto, the most diverse city in the world, attending a Mosque known for hateful prayers toward others?
How does he justify his actions? Where is his concern for hate toward Christians, Jews and all other groups in Toronto and Canada for that matter? Is it ignorance, or is it wilful blindness?
